Installation

Chromium based browsers (Chrome, Chromium, Brave, Vivaldi, Opera, etc.)

1. Download the extension from GitHub by pressing the green "code" button and then "download ZIP". Unzip the zip file. Or run git clone https://github.com/bkf2020/browserfocus.

2. Find the folder that contains the extension. If you downloaded a zip from GitHub, it should be called "browserfocus-master". Make sure when you open the folder in your file manager (File Explorer on windows, Finder on mac), it contains a manifest.json file among various other files.

   Then go to chrome://extensions. Turn on developer mode and press "load unpacked". Select the location of the folder containing the extension.

3. The extension should now be installed.

4. Click on details for the browserfocus extension. Make sure to allow access in private/incognito mode and check "pin to toolbar."
